30% OF ALL PROCEEDS GOING TO REFUGEES-WELCOME.IT
Since 2018 Vitelli works towards a 100% sustainable production cycle: the “DOOMBOH” line is entirely made with 100% reclaimed yarns, collected by us directly from neighbors’ production leftover and then felted together into clothes with a special needle-punch machinery.

First, the popular cartoon story looks random, disturbing when it comes to the mistreatment of animals, hints of racism and the psychedelic creepy alcoholic trip which in no way contributes to the plot.
It is though primarily the heartbreaking story of a mother-protector relationship with her child.
Even in imprisonment, as they are together, all the misery and horror of existence fades away. All that remains is love. Love can and will sustain them.
Second and most important: it is a story of self loving. Big fat tears come down the puppy’s lovely face when everybody calls it a freak. But those are not big ears, those are wings. There’s nothing wrong. That beautiful difference. The cute bullied creature can fly!
We want Doomboh to embody our collections and become the surface of our DNA.
Reclaimed threads transformed into unique textures to be worn, touched, felt and shared. An image of connection to others,
and to what was going to be left over, ignored, disregarded, neglected, and ultimately wasted.
